Even though I do spend most of my time shooting weddings, I still love going out during weekdays and taking portraits of families, both established and growing!
Portrait photos are always so special to me. Normally, there's an occasion being celebrated - whether it's a family of 5 or a family getting ready to add a new little member (could be a child or a pet; you wouldn't believe how many puppy photos I've had the honor of taking).
I want to get to know you as much as I can. What's your family's story? How has your pregnancy been? Tell me everything! The better I know you right off the bat, the better I'll be able to help you plan for your session, and make sure our locations match you and your dreams for your photos. If we're able to, I'd love to be able to meet in person to chat about what your session and get to know each other even more before your photoshoot.
Because I want you to love your photos, and I know how much they mean to both of us, I want to help the shoot go as smoothly as possible. I'll send you a style guide that will help you get an idea of what's great to wear, amazing location options, and so much more. The guide is full of answers to questions I receive often, but should you have one that's not included, I'd love for you to reach out and ask me anything and everything.
You've booked me for your shoot, you've read over the style guide, and now it's finally time for your photos! We now have the opportunity to really get to know each other and spend some time together.
I promise getting your photos taken isn't as scary or intimidating as it sounds. If you're nervous, don't worry. That's normal. I can promise you, though, no matter what type of session we're shooting, it's going to be so fun!
As soon as I get home from your shoot, I'll go through all of your photos and pick a few of my all-time favorites. I'll post a sneak peek of your photos and a special blog post to get you and your family and friends excited to see the rest of your shoot. 2-4 weeks later, I'll deliver your photo gallery, and once you've seen all your photos (and LOVED them), we can start talking about designing your album. There's nothing like having printed photos!

In the voice of Chandler Bing: Could this wedding BE any more amazing?? It was PERFECT. When they were announced as husband and wife, they even walked down the aisle to “I’ll be there for you"...
