It was such a pleasure meeting this family and having the honor of taking baby Grayson’s newborn photos! One of my favorite things about this family and this session in particular – other than the cutest little knit newborn overalls Grayson was sporting – was the fact that they chose to add an album to their session.
I LOVE when families not only trust me enough to capture these all-too-quickly-fleeting moments in their lives, but they also trust me enough to invest in permanent reminders of those moments in the form of an heirloom that will be passed down through generations. I know one day, Grayson is going to look at the album of his baby photos, maybe even with his children and grandchildren! The idea of that is not only special for his parents, but it’s incredibly special to me as the photographer. Not only will it be something he’ll treasure in terms of seeing himself as a baby, but he’ll get to step back in time and see his parents in the stage that he may be in, himself, at that point. What a blessing!
