Catherine and Mike tied the knot on May 11 at the beautiful Saddle Woods Farm. It called for rain all week, but Catherine and Mike didn’t let this affect their day. Catherine had dreamed of an outdoor wedding, so plans were continued to make her dreams come true and have the ceremony outdoors.
They say rain on your wedding day is good luck because it signifies that your marriage will last. As you may know, a knot that becomes wet is extremely hard to untie – therefore, when you “tie the knot” on a rainy day, your marriage is supposedly just as hard to unravel!
The drops began to fall right as Catherine made her way down the aisle, and you know what? She smiled right through it. It was such a beautiful ceremony, rain and all. The guests braved the rain like champs and sat through the entire ceremony. Afterwards, they stuck around and celebrated Catherine and Mike with a night full of laughter, dinner, and of course – lots of dancing!
Catherine and Mike, your wedding was absolutely incredible! I have no doubts your marriage will stand the test of time, and I am so honored to have been a part of your day!
