Taylor + Austin | Cedarmont Farm Wedding

Taylor and Austin’s wedding was the absolute perfect way to close out my 2022 season! In true Tennessee fashion, the rain for the day was unpredictable, but that didn’t stop the bride and groom from making the most of every moment during their wedding day at Cedarmont Farm.

Y’all know I can’t talk about a wedding day without talking about the details. The groom had some special ones for his big day, including a pocket square and a bullet casing, both featuring the initials of his late cousin, who would’ve been a part of the bridal party. It was difficult to not get teary eyed as he sat the casing next to him during the ceremony, symbolizing his cousin’s place in the groomsmen lineup. The bride didn’t forget about her details either, as her bouquet featured a piece of lace from her mom’s wedding gown, and a beautiful brooch from her grandmother. We also can’t not talk about Taylor’s reception shoes. Triple stacked platform sneakers? Covered in rhinestones? Are you kidding me?! Amazing.

Not only were Taylor and Austin intentional about their wardrobe details, they didn’t let any part of the ceremony or reception stay plain-Jane. Their ceremony backdrop was not just any cross…this cross was hand carved by the groom out of the tree they got engaged under. Men, take notes.

Their reception featured the most fun photo wall covered in florals and topped with a neon sign. Outside, you could find their favorite part of the party: the giant light-up T&A. After taking photos next to it toward the end of the night, Taylor couldn’t help but say, “These are my FAVORITE photos!” I agree, Taylor!

As the night was coming to an end, Taylor and Austin took part in a private dance before making their sparkler exit and driving off in the most beautiful vintage Bel-Air. This day truly was the best way to end my year. Congratulations, Taylor and Austin!
