Lauren + Gary | Cedarmont Farm Wedding

Filed In:

If there was ever a day to sing “rain, rain, go away”, it was Lauren and Gary’s wedding day. Thankfully, it worked, and the chance of rain in the afternoon somehow went from 70% to 0%! The sun even decided to peek out a little bit after the ceremony!

Anyone who knows me knows that I’m a sucker for details, especially sentimental ones. When Lauren told me the tiara she would be wearing for the day was worn by her grandmother, mother, and aunt on their wedding days, I almost teared up. The same sentimental value could be found in the porcelain cake topper that was also part of her grandparent’s wedding. Lauren completed her bridal look with the most sparkly pair of boots (the same ones she wore for their engagement session) and a beautiful family heirloom necklace. The best detail of the day, though, was probably the bride and groom’s Bernadoodle, Ollie, who sniffed his way down the aisle as the ring bearer!

Oh, and the reception? Biggest (and most Irish) party ever. There wasn’t a single person that didn’t hit the dance floor. How could you not dance when you’ve got an amazing live band there playing all of your favorite songs?! I’ll let you guess which photos were taken during “Sweet Caroline”. No one wanted to stop the party, but it came time for the last private dance between the bride and groom. Family prepared to congratulate them one last time, while Lauren and Gary swayed to Brassfield‘s acoustic version of “Tennessee Whiskey” by Chris Stapleton. It couldn’t have been a more beautiful end to the day.
