Oh this session! It was my last one for 2017 and man was it a great way to end the year! We traveled back to our hometown of McMinnville to shoot this session on Kyla’s family land, and even though Murfreesboro is finally starting to feel like home (it only took four years ha!), McMinnville will always hold a special place in my heart. This session is special to me for several reasons!
For one, Kyla and Joey are high school sweethearts! Is there anything more special than that? They’ve been together for several years and will say “I do” this year in 2018! Reason two, we actually all went to the same high school together! I absolutely cannot believe we are approaching our 10 year reunion in two years. WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE?? The third reason this session is so special to me…Kyla was one of my closest friends in high school! I will always cherish our homeroom conversations about boys, God, and all the high school things 🙂
Kyla and Joey, it was SO much fun getting to catch up with you guys and hang out for a few hours! You guys braved the December cold like champs (that is frost you see on the ground people!)! I am humbled and honored that you guys chose me as your wedding photographer and can’t wait to capture your big day for you this August!
